Growing up in Jamaica, we embraced a culture of taking risks as kids, even if some of them were quite dangerous. This fearless mindset accompanied us when we moved to the United States. We fearlessly pedaled along the gorge’s edge, ventured into the vast woods with our faithful dog, constructed various things just because we could, and hopped on our bikes to explore anywhere we desired, with the only rule being to return home by dinner time.
As my cousins and I entered our professional lives, this audacious spirit remained with us. We eagerly accepted challenges that seemed insurmountable because we were unaccustomed to boundaries. I was fortunate to have supportive leaders who fostered my growth. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly agree that if you aspire to grow, you should be willing to raise your hand and seize opportunities. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/ppingel_how-do-you-climb-the-corporate-ladder-put-activity-7118950066421198848-zAqu?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop
