Seeing more Americans turn to entrepreneurship lately isn’t surprising, and I’m proud to be part of that wave through my work with Right to Start. The recent rise in self-employment reflects a deeper shift: professionals are seeking autonomy, purpose, and a path to build something meaningful.

At Right to Start, we believe everyone should have a fair shot at launching a business, regardless of background or prior experience. That’s why we focus on working with entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurial Support Organizations (ESOs), civic and community leaders, and policymakers to amplify entrepreneurs’ voices and drive civic change.

Entrepreneurship isn’t just about starting companies; it’s about giving people a real opportunity to define their future, create value for their community, and chart their own course.

If you’ve been thinking about starting something of your own or know someone who has, now is the time. The entrepreneurship movement is growing, and with the proper support, it can be transformational.
