Recently, I read that Gen Z now outnumbers Baby Boomers in the workforce. We know that Gen Z workers are driving workplace reform in many ways. Now, we’re learning that ‘microretirements’ are on the rise, with Gen Z and Millennials taking extended breaks from work to enjoy life and recharge. While I believe this trend could significantly improve mental health, it will require employers to make further adjustments. How can employers restructure their policies and operations to accommodate this mindset, especially when the ‘race to revenue’ remains a top priority? It’s possible, but employers should begin this work now rather than later. https://www.linkedin.com/news/story/the-rise-of-microretirements-6923730/
