Sparking Joy as a Manager

I’ve always been baffled by how difficult it seems for many leaders to bring joy to the workplace. In my own leadership experience, I didn’t find it that challenging. I’m not that unique, so what’s the issue? Given that it’s now widely recognized that joy in the workplace drives improved morale and productivity, perhaps a “joyful” disposition should be a prerequisite for leadership roles. If you naturally exude joy, you’re more likely to bring it into everything you do.
